Salzkammergut Golf Club

The long-established Salzkammergut golf club is located in Bad Ischl and is one of the renowned, historical golf courses of the region. Even as early as 1937, when golf was still a long shot from being the popular sport that it is today, a prominent guest played here: Edward, the Duke of Windsor. Bad Ischl golf club was also actively formative in establishing golf sport in Austria over the following years.
The diversified fairways are harmoniously integrated in the natural surrounds of Salzkammergut. The even stretches and the rising and falling slopes of the courses will guarantee you an exciting game. The greens of Ischl are renowned to have a fair layout. In spite of the natural surrounds, slightly off-line shots won’t put you too deeply in the rough, and golf balls are only rarely lost.

Mondsee Golf Club

The idyllic location on the banks of Lake Mondsee makes Mondsee Golf Club a really special experience. You should treat yourself to this luxury at least once during your golf holiday by Lake Attersee. It’s well worth a trip just to see the wonderful course: Max Graf Lamberg from Kitzbuehel designed a beautiful 18 hole course for Mondsee, probably one of the most challenging in Salzkammergut. Golfers from around the globe come to play here on this wonderful course, which is always kept in immaculate condition. The club facilities with a restaurant, bathing area and terrace café also fulfil the highest demands.

Traunsee Golf Club

A friendly atmosphere particularly characterises the Traunsee Kirchham golf club. Holiday makers and individual day guests find the open, casual character of the golf club most attractive. Observance was made to ensure an incorporated closeness to nature during the design of Traunsee Golf Club. A narrow mountain stream and idyllic ponds distinguish the golf course, as does the diversified architecture. Wide fairways, thick forests, sometimes hilly, sometimes flat – and always with a wonderful view over the unique landscape around Taunsee. You can also enjoy a magnificent panoramic view from the practice area.

Drachenwand St. Lorenz am Mondsee Golf Club

A golf course loacation that couldn’t be any more spectacular. Snuggled up against the towering wall of rock, known as the “Dragon Wall” or “Drachenwand”, you can enjoy a marvellous view of the lake and the picturesque town of Mondsee from practically every green and fairway. The course has been superbly designed and will guarantee you a diversified game. Since the course was expanded to 18 holes, this golf club in the heart of Salzkammergut is more popular than ever before. Perfectly manicured greens and fairways ensure a perfect game on this relatively short, yet extremely diversified golf course.

“Golf and Sail” is the motto of GC Weyregg am Attersee. No wonder, a large number of the golg club members are enthusiastic sailors. The wonderfully located golf course by Lake Attersee will not only appeal to you because of the beautiful landscape. Greens and fairways are designed to provide a pleasurable game, and the harmonious incorporation of the natural surrounds provides additional pleasure. The club is also considered to be particularly family-friendly – children and adults are offered efficient courses and training sessions.

Attersee-Traunsee Golf Club

Due to its convenient location near the West Autobahn A1, the Attersee-Traunsee Golf Club attracts players from many holiday resorts in Salzburg and Upper Austria. The picturesque location between Attersee and Traunsee makes the 18 hole champion course your first class choice. You can play a round of golf over a distance of 6400 m on this 90 hectares course. There is a selection of six teeing grounds on each of the spacious fairways. Thus, the Attersee golf course is particularly interesting to both beginners and golf pros. For your golf training: 300 m driving range, 60 teeing grounds and a large short game range with shaped greens. Supervised by Thomas Thoeni Golf School, with which, of course, you also can book practice hours as a holiday guest.
